What Is Cynatine® HNS?

Intact, bioactive keratin is absorbed and utilized by the body far more effectively than denatured keratin.

Cynatine® HNS is a patented, solubilized keratin complex derived from New Zealand sheep's wool. Unlike standard keratin supplements — which use harsh chemical processing that destroys the protein's bioactivity — Cynatine® HNS is produced using a proprietary low-temperature, low-pressure hydrolysis process that preserves the keratin's functional structure.

Hair is made primarily of a protein called alpha-keratin. When the body experiences keratin deficiency due to stress, nutritional gaps, hormonal changes, or aging, the hair becomes weak, brittle, and prone to shedding. A 90-day double-blind, placebo-controlled RCT (n=50 females) found statistically significant improvements in hair loss reduction, hair growth, amino acid composition, and hair lustre in subjects taking Cynatine® HNS (500mg keratin + vitamins and minerals, 2 capsules/day) compared to placebo. Nail strength and appearance also improved. This is one of the only RCTs conducted on a specific branded keratin supplement showing direct hair growth benefits.

Cynatine® HNS is manufactured by Roxlor International using a patented hydrolysis process that distinguishes it from mass-market keratin. Conventional processing involves harsh alkaline or acid hydrolysis that fragments the protein, destroying the functional three-dimensional structure that makes keratin bioactive.

The Cynatine® process uses low-temperature, low-pressure conditions — more akin to the body's own digestive processes — to produce soluble keratin peptides that retain their biological activity and are readily absorbed through the gut lining.
